To Film Grain Or Not To Film Grain

So I've loved this game since it came out years ago. I'm recently going through playing the series again on PC and producing content for my YouTube channel. But, I'm wondering everyone's opinion on the film grain effect in the game.

Personally, aside from video quality...I feel sorta terrible if I turn it off. Is that just me? Or do others out there just feel like Mass Effect just isn't Mass Effect without the film grain? Sometimes I feel like I might just be crazy and alone in that way of thinking.

When I started playing ME I didn't notice the "film grain" option, and when I saw it I turned it off, I had played like 10 hours so far, I didn't like it how it looked, so I turned it on again and enjoyed it.

To not film grain, it makes the game have a grainy, weird look. Combined with motion blur makes it look a blurry low res mess.

Do the right thing and turn both those options off.

Wow I really am alone. While I can't deny the game looks nice and clean with it off. And honestly it probably does look better for my YouTube videos. I just can't help but wanting to leave it on, maybe it's because I left it on the first time I played it many moons ago. Nostalgia perhaps.
