I play alot old games and i dont think any old game on steam or orgin ask me for admin rights yet, definitive new for me. I buy this game on Ea or ex orgin because people say on Orgin or Ea game have all dlcs and Steam version dont. Also have Mass Effect Legendary edition, never like it ,alot bugs... Yesterday when i play 1 h Mass Effect from 2007 i was amazed, this version is way better in my opinion, i prefer old type graphics more realistic in my opinion.
So im safe if i play this under admin rights? If i run this game on admin rights only affects this game or all computer?
The game requires admin rights to start correctly for the first launch which wasn't accounted for by the developers. So instead Microsoft but a compatibility shim which sets Mass Effect to always start as admin.

And microsoft, on a similar line, also never seemed to question what they were even doing.
I have Win 10 too
