NP also if I may ask what class are you? I can pretty much CC the geth as an adept. I also used tali and ash to round out the tech/combat/biotic balance

Bring Wrex with at least 1 point in Stasis. At the start of the fight throw Stasis on the battlemaster. Wipe the geth, then quickly spread your squad out in a large circle behind cover and finish the battlemaster.

Krogans aren't that bad. The best things to use against them when they are charging are the push, lift and the poison abilities. If you're a sentinel, you have access to all three. I would bring Kaidan and Wrex to the fight if you find him difficult.

If it's on Therum (where you find Liara), the Krogan won't charge you until you kill all the Geth as far as I know.

This battle is easy as a soldier, i suggest you do some uncharted worlds or other random quests to level up more and put points in to fitness, armor and healing. I have multiple playthroughs on console and i have nearly finished the game on PC, this mini-boss is not that hard. Just make sure you are ready. I also highly suggest you bring Wrex as he does not die that easily.

Only thing I hate about that battle is the UNSKIPPABLE CUTSCENE just before it, after which you cannot save nor get an autosave... >:(

The Krogan is a badly placed mid boss, bad parties have troubles with. Emphasis on "bad parties"

That's not the only thing...I've seen it like 10 times over the past half an hour. I cannot kill this ♥♥♥♥♥♥. I've been trying what not... I kill everyone and I almost kill him but as soon as I am done with everyone else, he comes to me and kills me.. wtf

Also have polonium rounds for the krogan, stops him from regenerating. Saved the day for me back when had first encounter with him.

Biotics are the counter to Krogans. The problem is this particular Krogan guards the Biotic npc and everyone else is unlikely to have Biotic powers unless they specifically went for them.

I took him down as a Infiltrator. He was killing Wrex in close range and I sniped him, then Wrex died and the Krogan rushed towards me, I activated the Sniper special next shot and took him down when he was about to get me, a few centimeters away.

I sighed relieved...
