EA deleted everyones keys bc some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ were reselling them.

I contacted EA and they gave my keys back, that's only thing we can do rn. Still annoying to have to have them saved in a text file instead of having them easily accessible in Steam. They're not putting them back on Steam bc some idiots abused it so yeah.

Thats not an exploit, thats EA being stupid with its promotions, and why should the owners of this game or any other EA game have to pay the price for EA being stupid with its promotions?

Tried it today with a rep at help.ea.com. Got a big nope. They said they don't have access to the keys on the Steam platform.

Keep trying, done it with multiple EA games fine, if for the first time they don't contact them again and hope for someone else.

Yeah, tried again. This second guy seemed a bit more experienced ... but in the end told me I had to contact Steam support for help with this, lol. I guess I'll try that at some point ... but I bet they tell me I need to contact EA support, lol.

Weird. I had no idea you even needed a CD key. I mean it mentioned it during the install. Had a little pop-up window with the key and a message to copy it to clipboard. But never actually needed it to play the game.

You don't really need it anymore for the Steam version of the game, but it's nice to have as you can use the key to unlock a copy of the game in Origin as well using your EA Account.
