The only problem I have is that's a long time from now.
Boot Big Picture. Make your own settings using KEYBOARD&MOUSE as a template OR use community templates.
There is no need for downloading any third party controller apps.
I tried this in the steam settings and tried multiple preset and templates changing the settings manually on the controllers and I ended up only getting one of the joysticks working, it just won't work for me for some reason.
And make sure xbox(?) controller support is enabled from Steams settings.
I believe so yes, I did it all manually, you're given a template for a controller and asked to map all the keyboard buttons to the controller, I did this several times and still didn't work strangely, I generally noticed that only games work that say "controller support" on the steam page already otherwise the keyboard sign only has keyboard support. No one else has experienced this?>
