PS4 controller mod?

So I played these games on the Playstation and I just recently got a PC and want to play the games on pc. Why Mass Effect 3 isn't on Steam is another story? I download the DS4Windows to emulate the Xbox controller but Mass Effect 1 doesn't have controller support it seems. I looked online and came across Xpadder but not sure if it would work with DS4windows.

I am new to all this mod and pc terminology but can someone help me how to get my PS4 controller and Pc to work on Mass Effect 1?
