Sprint does not work. When you press Shift, the camera angle changes, but the character continues to run slowly.

You need to be in combat to sprint.
Outside of combat, sprinting has the camera angle change and nothing else.

Thanks, I already figured it out. I played this game a long time ago, a lot was forgotten.

me3 I think is the only one that did it right, I dont like how 2 lets you sprint but for such a brief period of time, it's a chore getting around the station or ship.

You still go faster outside of combat, it's just not a full sprint.

Bindings=(Name="LeftShift",InputMode=BIO_INPUT_MODE_NONE,Command="SprintOn | OnRelease SprintOff | ToggleVehicleZoom",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False)

Change to:
Bindings=(Name="LeftShift",InputMode=BIO_INPUT_MODE_NONE,Command="SprintOn | OnRelease SprintOff | ToggleVehicleZoom | SetRunSpeed 600 | OnRelease SetRunSpeed 400",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False)

Save.

I did this and it works for a bit, but then resets when I load a new area even though the file is "read only". Any ideas?

No ideas mate, it doesn't do that for me.

Maybe turn off the setting in Steam that automatically updates and corrects game files? I know for alot of other games, that's an issue when attempting to mess with the settings.
