Propaganda and LGBT content

This game includes pronouns in character creation rather than gender or sex.

The woke group claim its not a big deal, but if that were true, they wouldnt care if it was in or not. but I do, and I dont like the propaganda or the gaslighting.

Start labelling this crap in tags as LGBT content. Im growing less patient.

This is the thing; do I care? No. Of course I have an opinion on it, but it doesn't make me lose sleep; I don't truly care about it.

But in the moment, unless it means something in the game or has a specific purpose (i.e. how characters treat you, stat changes, romance options, dialogue options, etc), the moment modern Western politics creep into a fictional setting the game suddenly feels like it's taking place in California in 2024, not in some alien world, or ancient past, or far future.

If there's a reason pronouns, gender, sexuality or melanin count still matters in the game universe, have it make sense, I'm all for it. Persecution is rich source for a lot of potential drama, character development and introspection. It can be relevant and done really well.

That said, for the most part I'd rather fiction remained fiction. Divorced from reality. The inhabitants of Lunacid's world don't seem like they'd have time to worry about our current world issues, so by adding them it feels more like bait than substance.

I mean, I just fired up the game and went "oh no, this isn't going to be like ROM or Battletech where the dev actively hate-spams my email, is it?" and it doesn't seem that way, so I went digging into steam and see there's a complete lack of bans - so they don't take it too seriously (like HBS and Handleabra)

So I'm starting to think it's just a poor attempt at a troll.
I say poor attempt because as many redditors speculate: "this is to trigger the CHUDS and stop them from playing the game!" okay... why would you want to hurt your own sales?

Regardless, I'm a classic Fromsoft fan - probably the only one here who actually has a physical copy of Frame Gride, don't I feel old - so I'll be checking out the game over the week.

The dev has tweeted about that addition to the game a long time ago and the intent does seem to be just pissing certain people off.
