When a character is no longer active theyre no longer part of the ecosystem - they very much so "cease to exist". Your post insinuates that ONLY holo members are on the roster; Graduated talent are not members of holo.

No longer active is not defined as absolute "cease to exist", the character still belongs to the company and they can decides whatever they want to do at their discrepancy.

Both company and the voice actress/talent behind have no contract obligation between each other, VA can do whatever they want after the spilt.

And game is developed by Holo Fans, so quit wasting time, they can do whatever they want.

if you check hololive official website you will see the difference between officially graduated and terminated.

only Coco and Sana in there . . . so yeah the other girls just got deleted and terminated.

You are both wrong

Characters cease to exist when Cover says they cease to exist. When they delete the channel. Coco's channel is still up and members are still referring to her in passing as Coco or C-chan. Thats because she left on her own accord and it was a graceful exit. The other graduation examples where less so. And considering these other examples either wherent around for very long or where very controversial, those channels where deleted and the names removed from the brand

Hololive is a branch of Cover, if they didn't call it that it's because they might include playable characters from Holostars. But they wouldn't include Vtubers outside of those branches

Nijisanji and with their current state, not possible. Nijisanji is such a hot mess right now with all the BS they're pulling towards their talents. Vshojo seems like they are a mess too, with multiple talents leaving.

Read the game's store page. It is explicitly stated that it is a Hololive fan game by and for fans of hololive.
