just saw a video link on the game hub about a changing textures mod, thats nice.

A) what other steam version mod is available and what does it change?

I know this thread is ancient but theres a mod on moddb.com called 'Stratocubulus' which is a mode where a 'cloud' of shapes and blocks spawn procedurally so its like a near infinite , always different playground race track. Google mirrors edge mods and youll soon fidn the few that exist.

The map is not procedurally generated. It is always the same.
Still, it's one of the best maps out there.

It is possible to make maps for Mirror's Edge using an Editor. But you need either Unreal Tournament 3 or Americas Army 3 full tutorial here: http://unrealedge.wikia.com/wiki/Setting_up_the_Editor
