Mesh and/or Texture Glitch Help?
Whenever I play this game there is a reoccuring glitch where trianges in the mesh just arent there, also sometimes unessisary triangles are streched across distances where they shouldnt be. See the imgur screenshots to see what i am talking about. Anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it? It also happened when I first played Borderlands, but it went away after I started the game for the second time.

Sorry about image quality, my computer makes GLaDOS' potato battery look powerful.

The first image has many trianges missing in the distance.
The second image is a close up of a building, you can see right though it. Also the vent at the bottom has a streched triangle/texture on the left side.
The third image shows lots of missing trianges, also glitched trianges on the right building.
The forth image is supposed to be the side of a building, but it is mostly gone and seethough.

i guess you already tried updating directx and video drivers? also try turning off physx just in case

the fact that you saw this same issue on another game makes it seem its more to do with your system though. are you playing any other graphic intensive game?
also, does this happen all the time like in certain areas or its only after a while of playing the game? (overheating?)

I just installed the game today, and it said that it was updating my directx for me at that time, how can I be sure that I am up to date though? I did update my video drivers awhile back, but I'll check for anything new. The only other graphic intensive game that I play is Skyrim, and although I havent played it for awhile, it never did it while I last played it. And the glitching always happens, not after awhile of gameplay, I can see the missing trianges in the white city in the title screen.

EDIT: I just updated my drivers (not directx) and then opened up Skyrim. Skyrim does it too now.

ouch that sucks. thats probably something to do with your video card. maybe its time to change it if its too old or maybe its just overheating

Well, that may also be my prolem seeing that I don't even have a "video card". I have an AMD APU, which serves me well enough, but maybe it is time for an upgrade.

Side question: If anyone knows, would an AMD APU/ CPU work fine with an NVIDIA graphics card, or should I only consider AMD cards?

both should be fine lol
