2) Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\PhysX\Common and copy all the files in there. C:\ is whatever your system drive letter is.
3) Paste the files in the Binaries folder in your Mirror's Edge installation folder. You should be overwriting two files..
4) Paste the same files into the Binaries\PhysXLocal folder
5) The game should now start with the game's PhysX setting to On and the game will not freeze when a PhysX object is loaded during the game.
BaseEngine.ini has to be manually deleted, and then you can verify game cache for Mirror's Edge; that's how I was able to stop the instant CTD.
