Mirror's Edge

Game doesn't open at all. Please help.
I just bought the game a few days ago and when I tried to launch the game, it refuses to start. Basically, I click on the Play button, the button's text changes to saying the game is being launched, and then it reverts back to saying Play. I apologize if my post didn't make sense or had some grammatical errors, English is not my first language.

Open TdEngine.ini file (%USERPROFILE%\My Documents\My Games\EA Games\Mirror's Edge\TdGame\Config\TdEngine.ini) and change the resolution. Look for ResX and ResY in [SystemSettings] section to one supported by your monitor

Apparently, the .ini file doesn't seem to exist in my computer.

Edit: I just did the file integrity verification and the results say all the 4,620 files are installed.

Have you already read the PCGamingWiki?
https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Mirror's_Edge
Maybe it will solve the problem. If not, try DXVK from GitHub.
https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk
Often it is a DirectX incompatibility problem.

I had the same issue. All I did was :
"navigate to your install folder and find \steamapps\common\mirrors edge
In that folder open the folder Binary
From here open the folder PhysXLocal
And then copy PhysXLoader.dll and paste it into the Binary folder"

Unfortunately, it's too late for me to try that. I just tried to see if getting the EA App version would work and apparently, the EA App version worked immediately. After that, I refunded the Steam version. It also looks like it had some folders and files the Steam Version didn't (folder titled, "installer" and a folder titled, "Core"), though maybe those are just for the EA App client? I don't know.

Thank you, this worked for me on Windows 11.
