But I already saw a few walkthroughs on Youtube (thanks to EA Access). The game looks awesome and the open world aspect is sooo promising!
Damn, I want to play it too!!! Anyway, I hope you have fun with it! :)
hype intensifies
The root or origin of video games has always been about gameplay mechanics. Watch a movie or read a book if you want a good story.
And btw, there are many movies and books that contain stories allot worse than some games.
"Why isn't there more focus on designing games with good stories rather than blind shoot-em-ups and hack-n-slashes?[www.quora.com]
"The reason is because games are not about story, they're about mechanics. They're about gameplay. You can put a story on any kind of game mechanic. [IT'S NOT WHAT'S IMPORTANT.]
A game with a great story and crappy gameplay will fail.
A game with no story and great gameplay will win.
Put a great story on great gameplay and you'll have something special.
Age of Empires, DOOM and Minecraft don't give you a story - it's all about gameplay." -JOHN ROMERO
