PSA: Pure Time Trials Map Pack. ORIGIN ONLY (ME Transferrable)

Hey everybody.

I had a devil of a time finding the PC version of the Mirror's Edge Time Trials on PC. They never released on Steam, but your Steam purchase for games before 2012 made by EA are transferrable to the Origin service via entering your CD Key.

EA has also discontinued selling the map pack on Origin as well, for some completely unbeknownst reason. I got the run-around by EA Customer Service and the reps on the forums alike, and thought it was a lost cause. I even bought a stray code from Target to try and get it to work, but they refunded my purchase immediately.

I made one last desperate search, and bought this Wal-Mart Online code... and it worked. Downloaded and it works perfectly.

Keep in mind that "Synesthisia" is a Playstation Exclusive map and is not included (sad face).

It's 5 bucks. Throw it into origin and it'll work (you can convert your ME game from Steam to origin for free, there's a thread for that somewhere).

Figured I'd let people know, as it was incredibly difficult to find and will in all likelihood soon be vaporware. I'd appreciate if someone could release a mod/crack of the DLC, for preservation purposes.

Mod for Pure Time Trials on steam: http://www.moddb.com/games/mirrors-edge/addons/all-tts-mod (top result on google for "mirror's edge pure time trials steam") i've been using this for years, maps are identical. also includes a few more custom maps made by the modding community.

huh. I did a once-over at moddb and there was only one PTT mod that multiple people said did not work on Windows 10. I'll have to give this a look.

Is it true that the DLC is so big - 3.4 GB? Seems abit hefty for just few time trial maps?

I managed to get the DLC redeemed through origin, but am having a hard time getting it installed. Would you be able to help me with this? The DLC gets stuck on "finalizing" and the map pack never shows up under "Time Trials" in the game.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if EA make another cash grab and remastered this game with all missing dlc.

I've bought the game during its release day and today EA's selling strategy went absolutely ridiculous. The Steam and Origin versions are totally bad. I still have the original DLC setup executable on one of my external hdd's, which was released long time before EA came up with his client. And to EA's own regret, they won't allow a reupload. But that's just how it is when you have no idea about supply and demand. Quantity takes precedence over quality anyway. I mean, what great games has EA produced with DICE over the last 5-10 years. None! ^^
