runs good with 60 runs better with 144

Try disabling v-sync but if you have a 60hz monitor you won't see any difference anyway I think

Heki's correct, but you can still keep framerate smoothing on if you simply raise the max value to 144 in the same document and keep it true.

Disable V-Sync and you should run the game with more than 60fps. Groen90 is right, it won't make any difference if you don't got a monitor which supports 144Hz.

Even with Vsync off, many Unreal 3 titles dynamically smooth the framerate between 22 and 62-- this means nothing above that cap. The only fix is editing the INI to either turn off framerate smoothing or change the upper limit.

Don't bother making it read-only, ME doesn't try to overwrite it.
