PC controls in tutorial?

Game apperentely thinks you are using controller if you can't see for keyboard and mouse.

Many don't have issues but some of us do.

It can be anything, small things you tinkered in past for other game and now is problem in this game or it detects some third party software like virtual controller or something for controller.

But honestly I have no idea what exactly it could be causing this issue its just something OP has to investigate on his own.

I'm playing it with controller problem solved.

theres not that many controls. shift control and maybe a couple more you should be fine without the tutorial

Can you use just M+KB or do you get any errors? If you can just use them here are the most important controls:
W,A,S,D - move forward, left, right, backwards
Space- jump
Shift L- crouch
Run>jump>shift- duck in jump to get over fences With spikes
Space when running to a wall- Wallrun
Q- turn around
Space+Q+space on a wall- double Wallrun
Shift while running- slide
M1- hit (used for red doors too)
M2- disarm person when his weapon is red, arm yourswlf with weapon from the ground, disarm yourself from weapon holding in your hands
Jump onto a rope and Faith will grap it> press shift in air to let go
Alt L> Faith will look into the direction where you have to go
E- interact with objects like buttons

what, dont get a refund just to ignore a minor UI inconvenience, there are very few controls & it's a nice game

we need to know what triggered it, the game is unreal engine 3, there are tons of games on this engine, wouldnt want it to happen again right? (coincidentally guardians of orion is showing me controller buttons in its menu for no reason... maybe it's detecting that the steam controller driver exists, i didnt try disabling it in device manager)

you jump with space you turn around with q, you zoom to the mission with left alt and you crouch with left alt. that's it.

I solved it by ditching my PC and getting a new one

You must deactivate all HID Game Controllers in the Device Manager and it works
