Spore 2005
I dont know if you guys heard about Spore 2005 or what ever we is gonna call it. It was an earlier version of the game but they canceled it because of bugs and glitches. But then Maxis started to make the same (Spore) game again because Spore 2005 was such a succes on E3 if Im not wrong. I really wants this game to come out (probly never will). It had so much more to give. Like Molecur stage, Aquatic stage, City stage, Hut editor, Plant editor and more. Spore 2005 did look more "realistic" too or at least cooler in my opinion. The game was more aimed to a more mature market and Spore went to a more genaral market to get more sales. Read more about Spore 2005 here: http://spore.wikia.com/wiki/Removed_features
Do you guys want this version of the game to come out or is it just me? please comment and tell your opinions :)

Makes me so sad...

The only stuff that changed were the crappy stages. Anyone who played Spore knows it's a race to space. Nothing has really changed between the 2005 Spore and the one we have today. Just a few stages cut out (which are pointless) and a tiny bit of features that really didn't matter, unless you're into weird animals banging in a game?

Why they didn t realise underwater civi?

It's sad that so many features were removed, but I feel that the creativity and talent from the pro spore players compensated for that.

If you're incapable of finding the instructions on your own, then you REALLY should not be messing around with it.

one thing i dont get is
why did they remove the blood?
they could just have a no blood option or something
but if they were to add blood again then they would need to have the no blood option on by default because younger players and stuff
plus nobody wants to puke when playing a video game

The most important thing to know about the flora editor is that it will crash your game.

And someone who doesn't know what they're doing is unlikely to fix the problem they've caused.

Same reason they were banning anyone that created anything even remotely phallic: the childrens.

EA went for the biggest market-share they could: ie everyone. And you have to market to the lowest common denominator: children.

It's also why they removed the Aquatic Stage. They didn't think children could figure out 3D controls.

Then EA would have had to add parental controls to the options menu so children couldn't turn the blood option back on.

This is EA we're talking about. They took the easy path and removed blood, dragging of prey, the molecular stage, the aquatic stage, and many other features.

Because Spore is, first and foremost, a children's game.

E-mail EA and ask them.

I'm just telling you how it is.

You'll have to ask them why it is.
