What are you talking about? I just checked Origin, and Spore is being sold for $20 (same as on Steam when not on sale). Where's the difference?

Plus, it's 75% off right now on Steam... and you don't have to use Origin (which is pure garbage)

it's 9.90€ there, while it's 29.99€ here.
just for today it's cheaper here, because of the 75% off.
(about two weeks ago it was 75% off there too, something like 2.50€)
Didn't buy it because I prefer Steam over Origin, but the fact that here is more expensive doesn't change

They're trying so hard to push Origin that Mass Effect 2 is now part of an "Indie" bundle. Origin code only, of course.

I'd love to buy ME3, Dead Space 3 and Kingdoms of Amalur but I certainly won't on Origin. (KoA is on Steam, but hasn't been on sale for nearly as much as the Origin version has).

you still need to create a account on a EA website to get access to the game - only origin and drm securom seems to be removed. Well no Origin is a good deal - but i don't deal anytime again with this company

Origin is like drinking pi ss every time you play a game. I'd pay double on steam to avoid drinking pi ss(aka use origin) any day of the week. but god bless steam sales, if you have the patience you can always get a better deal on steam.

Orgin is invasive,slow, buggy, and leaves a nasty taste in the mouth.
