Where is the Origin code?

Hello,
I bought Spore recently, but cannot register it because this message turns up when I try: "There is no record of this email or password on our system." The information I put in is correct, and when I talked to EA, they said that I had to redeem the product code on Origin. They said I should have gotten the code with my purchase confirmation, but it isn't there.
They, very usefully, told me to contact Steam support. Before I do I was wondering if any of you guys might know where it could be.

The code they are telling to register with Origin is the CD Key. When you click on Spore in your library, look at the right side of the screen, thereshould be a link named CD Key. Click it and you get the serial code you need to redeem in Origin.

Thanks Shamayne, that worked wonders. The EA guy was awful, to put it nicely. Thank-you for making it so much simpler :P

I need the same help but I literally do not have the CD key option in my menu. The CD key option exits for the add-ons but not the main game.

EA removed it because EA Play broke their CD keys. Contact Steam support to provide your key directly or contact EA Support with your proof of purchase to have them add it manually to your Origin account.

And next time, maybe look for a discussion that's not 7 years old.

If you go into your library and right click on Spore hover the mouse over manage and there should be an option for the CD Key.
