It took you four months to make a three word reply?
And you didn't even use proper capitalization or punctuation?
At least your spelling was good...
Spore hasn't had an update since 2010. If you've been having problems since then, then no, it does not "work now".
I like the space stage but i dislike having to jump twelve planets everytime there is a grox invasion or every time an friendly planet gets attacked.
And it gets worse the larger your empire grows.
And given that most players ultiment spore goal is to conquer the entire galaxie.
You can see the problem.
Try flying from the most outer edge of the galaxie to the center while being bombared with we are under attack messege's.
Where is space stage would have been stratagy gameplay we would be busy running an space empire.
And i think that is why people dislike space stage.
It has so much empire management portential and we are stuck in a tiny ship doing the same thing over and over.
During the space stage less is more as well, which is annoying given that if you're an expansionist, you'll only be saving your colonies (and/or allies) from disasters. Or you'll be flying around collecting insignificant terraforming stuff you can't properly enjoy. Or you'll be floating trough the vast distance collecting... insignificant artifacts, which give you money, which one planet's output can equal in one transaction.
That was then of course gracefully 'fixed' with the abonomation that's called GA which allowed you to go back to walking phase. I'll not even start speaking about how that expansion ruined every previous stage if you don't hand-select people's creations..
TL;DR
Game said it would deliver tons. Delivered some. Is fun from time to time. Last stage obviously a grind as you'll reach the cap. Endgame poorly fleshed out.
Don't get me wrong, I liked the game, loved the concept and was content with how it was actually implemented. I think if they made each stage just a bit longer and get rid of the 3-way-fork-nonsense the game would've had more playability already. Have to admit I spent the majority of my time in the editors, instead of actually playing.
