Purple Screen of Death

Whenever I seem to start up Spore now, it gives me a purple screen. I can hear it start up, but can see nothing but a purple screen. It used to work for about a week before this happened. Uninstalling and reinstalling it does not fix the problem, even when I do it to the add-ons. Purchasing a new copy doesn't help either (I bought the steam copy second). I really don't know how to fix the problem and it's really frustrating. If anyone knows a fix, please let me know. I'm also working on a Windows 10 and can run the game at max settings if that helps.

Would love to tell you no, but yes. The only difference is that mine did not work from the start...

Maybe Directx or a game file is the problem.

Should I upgrade to directX 11?
What is your DirectX version?

All you have to do is Upgrade to direct X 11 guys, its a good fix

How do I do that? And is it free? Will it affect much else?

just saying, sounds like a graphics driver issue...
I'm pretty sure youve already fixed the crash but try using the update utility

I haven't fixed it yet, but i'll give your idea a shot. Thank you :)

It said I had a custom graphics driver, not really an Intel one.
