gifting during tribal. how do i do it?

i wanted to go through tribal without killing any of the other tribes. i'm sure i have to send gifts to the hostile ones before i can use social to ally them. i just don't know how.

given that the only "currency" is meat or veggies.

Set your tribe members to 'social' and then rightclick on the rival tribes' food stores. Whatever tribe member you have selected will bring them five food and your reputation with them will reset to zero. If you have multiple tribe members selected, only one of them will bring a gift; the others will follow behind throwing flower petals, so you can bring a band over to ally at the same time as you bring a gift.

Note that you actually have to HAVE five food, and your reputation will eventually decay into the negatives again, necessitating another gift, if you don't ally with them.
