Friends in Creature stage

I am having a hard time befriending several creatures. I am playing as a herbivore. I almost befriend a creature and suddenly the meter drops back to zero and I have to start over. How can I befriend some of the harder creatures?

For befriending creatures, there is a certian limit to how many times you can act. If you go over the limit, you will have to start over. The only way to befriend them is to upgrade you social skills. (Getting more parts, Getting the right parts, Etc...) Some will be more difficult that others, such as Rouges and unfriendly creatures.

I got the omnivore Perk to summon a flock at Creature stage. It helped alot with socializing and befreinding other creatures on Hard mode.
