wish this would get updated
its been 13-14 years since the launch, its an old game, but its gold. it ages like fine wine and never to be forgotten, such a great game that I played when i was little. it would be great if they would've added more content, but a script so old is hard to sustain and update sadly. its sad to see it slowly fade on steam.

es, I also played it as a child, but maybe new updates can kill this nostalgia when playing, and the game is already over, so the chance of new updates is as small as possible

Game hasn't been updated since 2010 and Maxis was closed in 2015. There will be no updates.

The reason Spore is such a pain in the ass to mod is because EA wanted to sell dozens of expansion packs (sa Cute and Creepy). But when sales tanked, EA tried to market the Spore game engine using the tech demo they called "Darkspore". That also failed.

This franchise is dead. Even if EA were to bring it back, it would include always-online DRM and would be filled with in-game microtransactions. Which has been EA's business practice since 2013.

Spore is what it is. Enjoy it or not. It's not going to change.

FYI, begging and advertising your YouTube channel are against the Steam Rules and Guidelines.

yea, you are right in the end, it can only remain as a childhood memory and one of my favorite games ever, the ammount of creativity that you can have and explore the galaxy, create creatures, its simple, easy to understand, but charming. if EA were indeed to bring it back, it would prob be simplified even more and be like "Want to buy this mouth? 10 dollars!"

Indeed it is small, you are probably right about the nostalgia part, but it will always remain as a childhood memory of a game that I still enjoy to this day.
