Linux compability
Hello everyone! I have tried to play Spore on Ubuntu 20.10 with the Valve Proton compatibility tool. Unfortunately, there are so many graphical bugs that it is unplayable.

Has anyone tried it already? Have you found a way to correctly emulate the game?

I've read in other threads that you can make it playable by forcing an older version of Proton in the compatibility menu. I'm going to try this myself, and---if successful---report back.

So weird others got it to work with 4.11-13, i cant get it to function on any of these. mint 20. just complains of failed script 2000.. my kid wants to play it, but aint going to get windows just for a game.
