Is Spore worth it for this Price?

I remember this game being much cheaper before. Do you think the price might drop more? Should I buy it now?

i just bought the base game for $5 which is 75% cheaper than normal. Right now the pack "More Spore" which has the base game and two addon packs is 50% off, so I'd say either one is a good deal. I'm not sure if the price will drop any more than this anytime soon.

Cheapest I've seen it is "free", when EA was giving it away on Origin.

I actually have the game on my Origin but I don't have access to that account anymore. I was considering buying it again on Origin, but the game's like 2 times more expensive on Origin for me.

Spore is an extremely good game for its price, as i had over 100 creations (mainly vehicles and creatures) and I had even more coming, I never bothered to create an EA account though, and when I formatted, I lost all my creations.

Spore is good but also trash. If you do get it save frequently as it likes to crash.

looks like it forces a ea login to play however. i thought this game bombed when it came out.. and they magically reset the reviews twice to fix its horrible reviews.. not sure why it says its so popular now.
