Creating vehicles and cars in civilisation stage isn't fun, I just take Maxis creations. The gameplay of this stage is quite limited.
In the space stage, you are most of the time just flying around and it's all so lengthy.
Many people hate the tribal stage, but I think it's okay. Unfortunately, designing your creature is limited and designing huts isn't possible.
Cell stage is a very entertaining mini game. But it lacks in depth and is pretty short and easy.
The creature stage is the best, evolving your little monster and discovering the planet in first person view is a lot of fun. Unfortunately, if you've already played one or two times, it gets boring and repetitive. Also there's no way to remain being a water animal or to be an amphibian, or learning specific adapted behaviour that is different from the other creatures, like digging holes living underground, being an fearsome but lonely rogue or founding a pack, learn how to fly properly, make reproduction more difficult with courtship, more habitats like desert, swamp, forest, cave, prairie, coral reefs, river, deep sea etc etc... So much wasted potential. Also I wish the game had an older target group.
To sum it up: No stage is perfect, that's why we need another Spore like evolution game, and cut out civilisation, space and tribal stage xD
Space, Civilization, Creature, Cell, Tribal.
Cell stage is the only one where part placement on your creation matters. Therefore, it's the only stage worth a damn.
Unless you like nipple-spitting, ass-singing ♥♥♥♥-monsters. In which case: Creature.
Civilization
Space
Tribal
Cell
Creature
Tribal in my opinion just seems like a slower and more boring version of Civilization.
Tribal: If I do carnivorous route, it's much harder.
Civilization: Just seems boring to me.
Cell, it's easy, but also has very few parts.
Creature: More parts (Yup, that's it.)
Space: So much stuff to explore!
Civilization (Just really boring to me idk why. Again, if it had more of a "Research stuff until you can get to space" style of gameplay rather than the "Kill everyone or make friends" idea that the rest of the stages have, it would be nice. Alternatively, just make it so that everything you do doesn't cause at somebody to suddenly hate you.)
Creature (It's repetitive, overrated, and not as in-depth as I would like it, but it is the stage that makes Spore... Spore.)
Cell (I'm not really sure why but I just really like it. I wish it was longer and more in-depth though)
Space. It doesn't deserve the hate it gets. Sure, it does start off slow, but once you get further in you find what lies in the endgame of Spore. There's so much you can do and so much that could have been in it. Just imagine... Floating colonies on gas giants collecting resources straight out of the atmosphere... Great fleets of ships slowly flying towards another system, ready to attack... A massive empire that spans half the galaxy and incorporates a great many species, not just one... I'm getting carried away here. Yeah, this stage is the best
TL;DR: tribal worst, civ bad, creature... exists, cell good even if it's super short and simple, space best
