I suspected as much but the sizes are quite large.. that's why I was thinking that it was perhaps possible
There are such things as standalone-expansions, but then they're *larger* then the base-game, since they include it's data, and then some.
( well, ok - minus the originals' campaign-cutscenes, maybe )
Also, standalone-expansions would have their own subfolder in the folder where your steam-games are installed ( when looked into with Windows Explorer, or whatever filemanager you may use on your PC ) - and Spore:GA doesn't.
If you uninstalled Core Spore, the game would crash when launching because GA still loads Core Spore's package files.
GA also loads C&C's package files if C&C is installed, meaning that C&C parts would no longer be present if you deleted C&C
well they ARE in fact bigger then the core game and also in a scale that would make sense if they included the main game. i was able to start GA before even starting to download the core game as well, bc of online not working i didnt try to actually start a playthrough tho
ps i know i am waay to late and maybe things changed since
