my game crashed and my save file has disappeared entirely

I don't know what to do but I spent 4 hours on it and im pissed off about loosing it all

im having the same issue and i honestly don't know if there is a fix. i've tried everything i can think of. try going to %appdata% and select spore then click the games file and delete game0 and uninstall spore and re-download it. i don't suggest this though because you'll delete all your of your save file and its only a maybe that it will work. ive tried like 3 times and it hasn't helped at all. if you come up with anything else pls tell me : - ( no one else as solutions and i've looked every where

I experienced my first crash and seems like my creature is there but I can't get back to the planet I was on.

Did your creations disappear?

my creations didn't but my planet did

Were you saving yourself? I been saving the game while on a planet and so far the planet is still there. I guess the game doesn't have a very good auto-save feature like you would expect in other games.

I did realise after making a new planet, that I didn't save... but I thought it autosaved-
