Be aware that Spore does not auto-save. And it will crash on you. Save often.
Depends in wich dificulty are you playing. If you are playing in hard I would start by offering presents to other tribes in the tribal stage, this way you should be able to focus on one, in hard difficulty most tribes will be enemies and they tend to attack at the same time, once I got gangbanged in the tribal stage due to that. In Civilitation state it will depende in wich kind of nation you are, and in space stage, well. It also depends on your difficulty, morde dificulty more ♥♥♥♥ to defend and more often, if you have allies in the galaxy they will send distress signals every now and then. I would post outpost near wormholes entries, this way you can keep track of where the hell did you came from. Now I can't think of nothing more.
Just remeber to get gliders. or not.
