NOTE FOR EA and summary of spore
In this disscusion I will explain the current state of spore...
So back in around 2005 (12005 in scientific calender) Will Wright came up with the idea for spore, that was origonally called "Sim Everything" and soon enough he made an early version of spore. he then showed it to public later and boy does the early game look awsome

Here's a link to the video of it
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8dvMDFOFnA

No one is quite sure what happened to this early develepment thing, but if anyone has a link to a download, please
comment it down below.
Things looked bright for spore's future, and if it continued that way, would have been 15x more of a sucsess.
But then EA came along.......... Now this was also partly why EA got a bad reputation and would lead to one of the biggest jokes in human history.
First EA altered the gameplay greatly by taking out a lot of voilence, parts, features and even 3 stages. Apperantly they wanted to make it "more child freindly". Though really that's just going to piss of a lot of people by dumbing it down.
And plus why did EA have to do that anyway? Sure it would seemingly bring in more people, but the over 12 audiance is ok. And you wouldn't piss off a lot of people. And also I know some parts would annoy people but it still would have made the game better. infact here's a list of ALL things I can think of EA removed:
*The molecular stage
*loads of parts
*the weather editor
*the galactic editor
*the plant editor
*the aquatic stage
*blood
*multiplayer
*the city stage
*some of the music
*shops
*the hunt editor
*dragging other creatures
*different cells
*procedural verbs
*more city customization
*underwater vehicals
*underwater cities
*more realistic movement
*advanced terraforming
*more realistic space travel
*genetics
*supernovas
*going out of you're ship on planet's surfaces
*the terrain editor
*and the Species Shuffler
So yeah as you can tell a lot of things were removed, and that's only the things I can think of!
But still the game was pretty good and popular. Even I think it's still a good game.
But there's still that aking thought in the back of everyone's mind. Spore had SOO much potential and it missed it by a billion light years! So that comes to spore today. We all know that the game is still ok, but could have been far more. Spore could have been more. It should have been more. Also during 2010 EA lost 1 billion USD! And the company has been strugling a lot and people are supprised that EA hasn't died. So there are 3 ways spore could go:
1.This is basicly where spore seems to be heading, EA ultimately dies and Spore stays active for a few years before slowly dying out, or EA continues and spore just dies out anyway.
2.fans want a new spore for decades with the fanbase bieng refreshed with the new generation for some time until EA does something, does nothing, or has already died, and spore goes on for a long time.
3.This at the moment is the least likely one. EA takes notice of the fandbase and starts working on spore again and makes spore graet again! EA if you do read this, reviving spore would put you back on the map! You'ed last much longer and be remembered for generations to come!

here are also parts of the early spore

also here's a game called "thrive" it is currently in verry early development and is going to be an evoulution game. Here's it's unfinnished cell stage.
