Registering new EA account Solution Found

I have installed and launched the game. And i click 'create new EA account'. I enter my details and click 'Submit' and absolutely nothing happens... I click the -> arrow and it says it cannot find my account...

I don't have an account.. so of course it can't find one. WTF is going on? I cannot create an account. HOW do i make and account and log in? SPORE game doesn't do anything at creation screen.

Solution:
[Spore launcher actually wants us to create a SPORE account, not an origin account, the wording in the launcher confuses us. When you enter info to create an account, it trys to create a spore account based on those details for an origin account, but the links are broken, so you must setup and register spore game manually with origin]

1. Go to origin.com and register there using whatever email/password.
2. Login to origin.com and click My Game Library.
3. Click 'Add A Game' in the top right of the brownser window -> Redeem Product Code
4. Get CD key from steam - Right click game in Steam library and choose 'View CD Key' and then 'Copy Key to Clipboard'
5. Paste CD key into product code box on origin.com, click NEXT, then select the bottom SporeTM option:

"SPORE™ (Čeština, Dansk, Deutsch, Ελληνικά, English GB, English US, Español España, Suomi, Français, Magyar, Italiano, Nederlands, Norsk, Polski, Português Brasil, Português Portugal, Русский, Svenska) "

NB: You have to register Spore as an Origin game, and have linked it to your account, now you can create a spore account in launcher (which it'll check for and create a spore account for you)

6. Launch Spore -> and click 'Create new EA account' <- This actually means 'Create new SPORE account'. knowing this, it makes more sense.
8. Fill in the details same as you did origin account details and click SUBMIT
9. If everything was done right, it should say it's created the account and let you launch the game.

OK, I read up on others having this issue, it was actually fairly straight forward once i understood the problem. EA's launcher is hideously bad. What I had to do was nothing like the launcher was asking me to do. lol The 'words' explaining how to fill in and click was completely wrong... Boggles the mind. Who wrote the launcher? It seems like they just copy/pasted from some other random EA title and pasted it on top of spore code. The words explaining how to proceed were completely wrong and irrelevant to spore. I ignored what the launcher told me to do, and followed player discovered steps to make an account and log in. And worked fine.

EA Support was the complete opposite of helpful btw. Just sent me from very slow loading website to website that offered no help at all, broken links, covered in words that were irrelevant to the problem, and no help in finding solutions at all. :) It was like Alice going down the rabbit hole.

If you need me to explain, I will do so here (but it's been covered on other old threads on forums)

First you must click 'Add A game' in the top right of the window.

I just linked my game to origin.After that instead of registering a new EA account,i logged in with my already existing one,i typed the email and password and i got in!

when i try to ad the game it detects it a spore code but when i select the language it descides i cant add that code

Make sure you are selecting the bottom 'SporeTM' option, not the default middle one.

I kept getting redirected to another page when trying to register it as the default SporeTM option (I think it was the second option on the list).

turns out i just needed to disable my vpn and it let me make an account

Thanks so much for this post! All I had to do was type in the CD key and link it to my EA Account, and then when I launched Spore through Steam it finally worked!

For me, it says that my computer is offline, but it isn't.

I mean like right now im connecting to Steam servers, so why not to spore servers?!


And I have no CD keys! Help please.
