Spore
Is the loyalty booster bugged?
I just had a planet with a loyalty booster and a happiness booster go on strike. Shouldn't that be impossible? To be fair, it took a long time and none of my other planets are doing that.

It's been forever since I even peeked at Spores hood to make my space tool mod but I think those just slow the rate of unhappiness no matter what the tool tips say.

However my question is why are you using unhappy city designs as easy as it is to make happy productive cities?

If you make them very unhappy then yes its possible, you should just use entertainment building to keep them neutral (no happy or sad masks) at the bare minimum to shut them up.

It's fun. I like going the extra mile to pretend that my civilization is being made ultra-efficient by mind control. The space stage is already easy enough. I've driven out all nearby competitors and secured enough spice to have as much money as I want. It took maybe an hour or two for a worker's strike to occur on the first planet I outfitted with max unhappiness. I'm not that displeased with it, honestly. Unless every other colony goes on strike in rapid succession next time, I'll keep it up with the max unhappiness. Having the +40 spice per hour in my purple spice planets is worth having to shuffle around a few buildings on a planet every hour or so. I do wish they'd just work as advertized, though.

Sounds like perfect reasoning to me.
