What happens when you delete a species from sporepedia?
Sometimes I delete a species off Sporepedia because I've updated the creature, or changed the name, etc. But I've noticed that I still got updates on a creature that was no longer in the Sporepedia. Don't worry, I've got a better version of it up, so nothing really lost to the community.

It's great that a species can survive in the wild even outside of Sporepedia, but I'm wonder what the status of those are. Do I continue to get credit if the creatures do well?

Also, my favorite creation, I took down from Sporepedia for a little while to change the name, only to change my mind and chage it back again. What happens there?

Feel free to answer just one of these questions if you like. Thanks in advance.

Deletion is a funny one. Not sure there, sorry.

Name changes are fine, though. Each creatures is assigned an ID when it's first uploaded, and I'm pretty sure different stages of evolution along its journey are either assigned the some number or are liked to the original, even though often they're hidden in your own 'pedia. Changing a name and then changing it back has no effect.

Nothing uploaded to EA's servers is ever really deleted. You can only just remove it from your index.

I think I understand. That's good. Thanks.
