Why can't I register an account through spore ?!

You have to make an ea account on thier site first, then login inside the game with that account and give that account a spore username.

If that doesn't work, then get an origins account using your EA account to register. Then get the key from your steam game (spore) and use that to get the game on origins. Then you should be able to get the spore account using the EA account

An ea account, an origin account, and a spore account are all the same thing. It's one account for all three things.

it only takes 5 minutes to make an origins account and getting the game in

No pain involved or sacrificing livestock or next of kin (sorry also been watching Vikings too lol), just a simple Origin download and registration. It's well worth the trouble involved.

I don't get why everyone makes such a big deal about this. It's not any more hassle than when you made your steam account. You're aeriously gonna miss out on the online features just because you don't have 2 minutes to make an account? :P

If you are having issues with setting up an account, you need to sort out the issue with EA, not here. EA do have a online chat system (though a bit long winded to find).
