How to link my Spore account to my EA account?

I have both a Spore and EA account. Actually, I am pretty sure my Spore account is older than my EA account.

Anyway, I tried googling about this, but most sites mention how to link your Spore CD KEY to an EA account, not your Spore account itself to an EA account. Or how to create a new Spore account on your EA account.

I don't want to create a new Spore or EA account, I already have both, I just want to link the two existing accounts together. Anybody know how I can do that?

im pretty sure you can not do this anymore. i think all of the spore related servers have been shut down

It seems that way. I even clicked on reseting my password and opened up the ea spore support page, and told me error as well.

go to origin.com and log in with your EA credentials

You have to redeem your CD Keys at origin. EA own origin. I don't know why but that is how it is done now this day. After the change, they make it that way. It was easier back in the day but now, they won't tell you about this step in order to use the online feature.

unless you want to download other players creations ther really is no reason to
just register your cd key with origin and then log in with that account or link your steam account
while your there click on free games then on the house and get Syberia II for free

An EA account, origin account, and spore account are all the exact same thing. So you don't have an EA account and a spore account. You have two EA/Origin/Spore accounts, one of which you have only used for spore, and the other you have only used for EA. Simply pick the one you want to keep and use it for the other things too. I'd assume you'd go with the one you used for spore since that's got all your creations and achievements etc.
