Mods don't work.

I've read the installation tutorials and tried. But, alas, they don't work. I'm trying Core Spore mods and they still don't work. And before you ask, there's no "Electronic Arts" folder with spore in it in program files.

Place them in the (DataEP1) folder.

Everybody calls it "EP1" but there's no EP1 on my copy what

Do you have GA installed?

It'll be in program files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Spore

Assuming a default Steam installation folder.

Well its my understanding that alot of mods no longer work without GA, although I could be mistaken I suppose.

Faux pas is correct. Many mods foil to function. You can place the mods in the Data folder in your screenshot, but whether it will function as intended is very difficult to say.

You also have to take into account the new update from a couple months ago that broke all the mods. The only working ones now are the ones that have been updated since the ssl renewal.

It didn't break all mods because the mod I wrote for the disc version of Spore (GA) still works with the steam version and I wrote it years ago.

It works as long as you have GA as well, generally speaking. A few things still won't work.

Most things fail to function without GA. A few things still work, though.

download origion. look up how to move the game from steam to origion then do so.

maybe try getting mods that come in the .package format.
