Maybe it's a mix of both PC and 3do versions. Just like Powerslave Exhumed.

I hope so, the 3DO-Version is much better than the Dos.

Yes. please contain the 3do campaign much better than the dos version.

3DO version has incredible weapon and enemies sprites. I wish this will be included as well

If the Turok and Quake 2 ports were any indication, they'll probably just include or merge content from both the 3DO and DOS versions of the game, hopefully giving a "best of both worlds" type of product. It's already a good sign that's they're using the higher-quality 3DO sprites, instead of the bit-crushed DOS assets.

I'm afraid not, it will not be added, would be cool to have it in any way, as a paid DLC or standalone game, 3D0 version rocks and visuals are much pleasant to the eye than in *enhanced* PC version.

Give me the ducks, the ducks!!!

How do you know it will not be added?

There is not a DOS version.

^That version runs on DosBox, technically speaking. Besides, it existed in the same era where DOS games existed, and even has extremely compressed art assets to fit in it's engine, a trait commonly shared by DOS games for similar reasons. So whether any of us like it or not people will call it a DOS game by association, even when it's original release technically wasn't.

But none of this really matters anymore, since this new version will hopefully fix the issues of that old PC version that is stuck in a DosBox wrapper. Having the game run on a modern engine is already a step in the right direction, same with not using the crusty graphics from the old PC version of the game.

The PC Port was designed for Windows 95.
That's why you have to put a lot of patches
to make it work fine, or use dgVoodoo.

But Yes, the resources on the PC Port are low quality.

My fault then, I forgot some non-DOS titles use DosBox as a compatibility wrapper; it's been a while since I've personally encountered as such. Still, this is all just semantics at this point, especially over a version that many consider to be inferior anyways. Better to just focus on this new version, since it'll probably just include the PC version's extras anyways.

According to the discord it is confirmed not going to feature it. Instead they're adding 3DO stuff to the PC version.
I don't know about level layout specificity or if there will be a full on PC vs 3DO campaign toggle. I'm always in favor of such options in remasters personally. I loved the fact that the Quake remasters included the N64 options, for instance.

But if I had to venture a guess, these bits of the store page...

The remastered edition of Killing Time: Resurrected features toggleable high-resolution character artwork/sprites from the original 3DO and PC versions of the game

...

Listen to the remembrances of the 7 restored video-real apparitions and ghostly guests.

... suggest they're giving us the FMVs and character assets from the 3DO version, but upscaled/restored as they put it, but the level layouts and weapons from the PC version. And all the contemporary QoL and variable refresh rate and res support one would expect, etc.

As someone else said, a sort of "best of both worlds" version of the game, ala the Forsaken remaster.

... basically that, if true. (I'm not on the Discord, but it makes sense.)

which is kind of a bummer but they did say they are adding the ducks and HD 3DO viewsprites alongside some parts of the interior from the 3DO version plus new unused areas alongside making existing areas from PC less cramped
