Buying this encourages this company and others to make more of this mess.

Just the fact it doesn't has mouse aiming should be enough to blacklist the game.
They went well beyond it with the monitor refresh increasing game speed, what a marvelous display of trash work!

Maybe the only thing worse than that is giving money to this people.

Edit - Just to clarify, I've nothing against any of you and its great to be fan/support the things we like. But... KOEI TECMO has a terrible track record. Just check all their ports and PC releases. What irked me the most was waiting 1+ year to play Nioh on mouse/keyboard. And then I still had to leave my Gamepad plugged otherwise it would cause the game to micro-stutter every second because it kept "looking up for a controller", AFAIK this issue still exists in the game.

Its not about holding a grudge, I have zero issues giving second chances to sources that WANT TO IMPROVE. Its about keep throwing S**T at your customers.

This company should stick to consoles because they STILL can't, to this day, code something right for PC.

Because I love Fatal Frame, and I was never going to play this game with a mouse in the first place.

I think the game looks amazing and I really want to play it. The port is bad, but we were already officially promised a patch to fix major problems people have, so I'm waiting for the patch. I don't want to refund, since I will lose my pre-order bonuses if I do so and then buy the game again at a later date.

Well for one thing I'm using a monitor that doesn't have a high frame rate, so I completely avoided the FPS and game speed bug (which is fixable anyway by using NVidia Control Panel and setting a limit). The other thing is I use a controller, so the game's controls work fine for me.

It's too bad that there's issues with the game's speed and the non-existant mouse controls. However, they've already said they're working on a patch for the mouse, and they're probably working on the game speed as well.

Just get a controller. As a gamer you should already have one. There are lots of other games on steam that don't play well without one, don't act like this is some singular exception. You can get one for under $20. Honestly even if the mouse controls were there, you'd still have a hell of a time with the ghost fights and the camera variables, I can't see a way it wouldn't be awkward and uncomfortable.
I've been playing without issue and having lots of fun, I am satisfied with it. I'll be keeping it thanks.

I for one have no problems with it. Been playing fatal frame with controller anyway so I assume it will be the same with this one. My monitor can only have 60fps max, so I am safe with the frame rate bug.

Won't refund since I am having a great time with the game. I hope they sort it out so you folks can also play it. Peace!

Isnt it obvious? people get overhype because Its the first fatal frame game that came out on pc.

Some of us played on Playstation and eventually left for PC. Seeing FF outside of a Nintendo console is miraculous. I just thought it would die since Nintendo doesn't seem to market adult/ horror stuff, and the newer entries not having the same fanfare as the old ones.

Gotta support niche games to get more of them. This is Koei Tecmo not EA, dawg. They’re working on fixing issues so no point in refunding if I’ll just buy it again.

They will add it in the next patch, you should have keeped it.

I buyed this game because i love Fatal frame and i don't pass on game i like, runs fine on my end.
