Bow ?
Did I miss something ? I heard nothing about bows in the store page videos.

Used to be a default in most of these types of games. MonsterHunter has it, but it's such short range it's pointless. Couldn't even get a bow in Way of the Hunter. I know it's totally different type of game, but it just feels like devs are getting lazier every year.

Why can't my orange bear resemblance to an apple, and maybe taste like one a bit? After all, they are both fruits. Is this like.. lazy nature or what's even going on.

The staff pretty much has the functions your would expect the bow to have and then some more. If you like to play an archer, the staff will have all the functionality a bow usually has, but the flavor will of course be different.

Developers do. One less sale + however many people wanted it that haven't asked. You do realise that only a small fraction of players actually speak on the forums, so my voice may represents hundreds of people and hundreds of lost sales.

""There's always one""

Every game loses sales all the time because people don't like that one thing about it or it doesn't have that one thing that they are obsessive about in it.

Devs do not and shouldn't care about something as stupid as this. With your logic they lost a hundred sales because they don't have a bow but gained another hundred for every other weapon.

In the end you can't add everything and please everyone.

So a game having sword/shield, daggers, spear, hammer, magic gauntlets and staff (ranged) as weapon choices with 4 elements to switch between is considered lazy. So you are just peeved your one weapon you like isn't there. I also call cap on there being hundreds of people who don't buy this game on the basis that there isn't a bow.

Man, if only this game let you fight with a Klingon bat'leth, maybe I'd play it. Alas, the developers will be losing thousands of sales from me and the legions of other people who only roleplay as displaced Star Trek characters.
