Compared with Immortals Fenyx Rising !?
I heard the upcoming IFN will probably sell for 15-20$. So which would be the better choice between these 2 games?

FR is open world game with lots of puzzles and platforming....annoying platforming if you don't just love platforming.Combat is good and the game world is cool, but again, the segments where you enter the tartarus rifts or what ever is plain obnoxious.
While I'm just scratching the surface here, this is more of a action/ adventure game with souls like mechanics. Others may give better insight here.
Without the platforming and puzzles, FR would have been great and I tried to finish the game a few times. I always quit in one of those ridiculous rifts.

You're out of your mind if you think Ubisoft will sell their game for only 20 bucks. Expect 40 minimum. And while that game looks fine, this game is most likely better.

You can buy it for $9, and you can literally buy the entire collection for $20 what are you talking about?

Lol, wtf are you even saying? Their stuff is always like 50% off a month after launch and go on sale every week.

I was referring to the price on launch, OBVIOUSLY.

Fenyx is much bigger and for what I played Asterigos (about hour) it seems good game but not great...... Fenyx can be finished around 30 hours but it can be played much much longer if you like to explore all over.
If you will choose then get Fenyx but best would be on getting both. Since in Asterigos it is more focused on boss fights (in around 1h I ran on two of them) and seems that it tries to pull bit on souls type games...... but not fully.
Fenyx is action adventure RPG with option puzzles and really charming characters some with really witty comments..... Especially if you are in Greece mythology...

Asterigos took me 50 hours, including reading all the lore and listening to all conversation options. Talk to us again when you're 10+ hours in.

Asterigos is much better. Fun level design instead of a boring open world, better combat and no cringe comedy ruining the immersion every 2 seconds.

The last one especially is what made me quit fenyx. Why they chose to make it a comedy game is beyond me but whatever. It wasn't even funny 90% of the time.

IFR is a fully fledged AAA game I had lots of fun with, besides the teenie story. It actually gave me Super Mario World nostalgia. Asterigos on the other hand feels like a kind of stiff, unfinished AA game. They have nothing in comparison except for a similar looking char.

This aged badly since they are now selling this game on steam for 15$ thanks to the -75%
sale.

Yea I was genuinely surprised, although the full game is 25 bucks. That's still cheaper than I thought, but it's not the permanent price. Still, the game doesn't look half as interesting as Asterigos, and there's no Steam achievements or other cool features so why bother? Plus you sstill have to deal with Ubisoft crap, so no thank you.

Fenyx Rising is fun at first but quickly becomes repetitive due to Ubisoft style open world. Asterigos on the other hand is more similar to Souls games so there is always something new to explore and find. Combat is also better.

This game is more like fable the first one then immortal fenix on gameplay.

I don't have this game was checking it out, but will give my opinion on fenyx (have it on ps5).

Its a typical ubisoft open world. You get high up, scout out locations, then go to them and do stuff. Its really cool at first but after awhile you realize the game is not going to offer anything new other than the puzzles being slightly different. Combat is pretty good.

If you have played other ubisoft games you should know the repetitiveness and if it will bother you or not. I lost interest before I finished it.

I found Immortals Fenyx Rising to be just like Zelda: Breath of the Wild, cept higher resolution, more frames, better cooking (that's my opinion- I don't enjoy crafting), improved combat (I like the tech tree), higher quality of life, more humor, and different story. I LOVED Breath of the Wild. Fenyx Rising seemed just like it with the benefit of better hardware and hindsight. Hard to imagine, I know.
