Crysis crashing on launch

(this is a direct rip from my ticket submission so you'll understand when its out of context, all help very much appreciated)

Hi i recently bought the Crysis package in your summer sale and finally got round to downloaded the first game 'Crysis'.


After downloading the game it would crash on start up, causing a blackscreen and nothing to happen. I verified the cache files and everything was fine so I thought 'hey must be something wrong with the download'. So I downloaded the 5.6Gb file again (which took an extremely long time to do on my slow internet), and I am having the exact same issue.

Now I do not believe this to be my hardware but here are my specs anyway.

Windows 7 64 bit home premium
Intel I5 2500 @ 3.3ghz
4gb RAM
Radeon 6750 HD graphics card 1GB memory

I updated all my drivers including DirectX and have had no luck at all, any help would be appreciated thank you.

patch? don't know why but on steam is v1.1 official patch to v1.2 and 1.2.1 is on google. not on www.ea. i think they have forgot about this game

Unless it's an AMD driver issue of some sort I would try remove as many unnecessary programs on your pc. Often times it's a program clash with something in memory, Btw, have you uninstalled your drivers fully or just reinstalled over them? A full uninstall may help if not

i did a complete uninstall, having the same issue, also tried the 64bit update from another thread and still just getting the blank screen.

if your running win7 64 bit just go to C:\Users\-yourname-\Documents\My Games\Crysis\Profiles and delete the profiles it worked for me.

i deleted the profiles folder, but still will not work, when i hit control alt delete, task manager says dx 10 not working

and the profiles folder is back. can't delete it permanently

Thanks to XEpicSluRpleX for the tip with the profiles and thanks to mcshave07 for his thread which directed me here.
I would say that I wish to be as useful when I grow up, but, well, its to late I'm all grown up already :)

None of this has worked for me? I've done all of this and everything in the other forums? ♥♥♥♥ at least my consoles never had this problem? I've tried literally everything, and I know quite a bit about technology which is lucky, If I didn't, I would be so lost, but still I cannot play Crysis, Crysis Wars OR crysis warhead, which I bought in the Steam Special obvs. Please, if someone has a fix why this doesn't work I would be appreciative beyond belief. Oh, and my system is a 64-Bit windows 7 Ultimate, AMD RADEON HD 6770 and ASUS SABERTOOTH 9900FX Motherboard. Don't think you need to know anything else. I'm literally gonna go back to console if there is no fix, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I only JUST switched to PC aswell.

None of these worked for me. I cannot run it with 64bit fix because an error "The OS is incompatible".
