Crouch toggle?
Replaying Crysis for the !st time in about 4 yrs. Two things I don't like is no toggle on crouch and like to do away with the toggle on Aim.

Maybe I'm late on answering this, but I was looking for the same info and I found a way:

Open note pad and type:

con_restricted=0
cl_crouchToggle=1

And save as:

"System.cfg"

Rember to type the ". Otherwise, your file will be saved as a .txt file with the name System.cfg and will not work.

The "System.cfg" file must be placed in C> Program Files or Program Files(x86)>Steam>Steamapps>Crysis>Game>Config, where you'll see another files with the same .cfg extension.

It works too in Crysis Warhead. :D

I uploaded the file:

Edited: the link was reported, I don't know why, so the content is not available anymore. But you can create your own file in the way described above.

The way crouch & prone works in this game makes it confusing if it's toggled.

I mean if crouch is toggled standing, you cannot go prone from crouching, you have to stand up first.

There are two stances: standing & prone, crouch is a modifier.

It's a dot (.) and no a "
FIle name need to be System.cfg, make sure your file is not System.cfg.txt, if so, delete .txt at end of file, then file extension turns CFG instead TXT! :D

Oh my, here is a gold standard rule, when you see quotation marks on something technical, DON'T USE THE QUOTE MARKS AT ALL. just it's contents. :htsmug:
