New GamePade Controller Configuration
Hi;

I had some difficulty setting up a new controller configuation for Crysis. The default sucks and so does the so-called options.

I prefer to use a controller whenever possible. that's my thing. don't judge :)

I use a Logitech F310 controller. There are to settings for it (F710 too), X-input and D-input. X-input is for native controller support.

I also like to use the Pinnacle game Profiler. It's awesome really. Pinnacle Game Profiler [pinnaclegameprofiler.com] They have hundreds of games pre-configured even games that were never intended for a controller, like Morrowind.

When you initially set up the profiler, you have to do the controller twice, once each for X-input and D-input (bottom of the controller). The profiler will call the D-input setting "Logitech Dual Action USB". Download the profile from the Pinnacle's server for this setting, not X-input. It will will work perfectly and you can mess around with the buttons if you want.

If you try to use the X-input profile then both the game and the profiler try to control the game and it's all wonky. The profiler is supposed to overide this but doesn't always work. D-input works perfectly.

Use the X-input profiles for games that don't have native controller support, like Morrowind (works awesome too)

Hope this helps
