Crysis 1 in VR

Thanks to some the genius of modders, we have a full VR mod for Crysis 1.

This MOD is freaky awesome! I played the whole campaing, and its amazing! Played some custom maps either.
Some texture mods work too, but the game became more unstable with that.

Using Q3 - 4090 and 7800x3D at 72Hz. The GPU isn't hard demanded is very "accessible" to find a good quality.

BUT

on the CPU is another history, hahaha. When you maximize the LOD distance and the objects details, hahaha. It crush any CPU!

this mod is quite fun, but I can't seem to figure out how to aim vehicle guns.
Edit: Nevermind, right stick seems to aim the gun but it also force moves your head, which is very odd.

If this was created on the remaster and not the original, it would perform considerably better due to better hardware utilisation. Unfortunate.

Sadly the tools required to do this, was never released for later version of the Cryengine.

Even the remastered version don't perform well in the modern hardwares. Hahaha

VR mod dont work. Can someone please tell me what ,,SteamVR must be set as the active OpenXR runtime" means in human language? Thanks.

The game is only OpenXR. You need to change the runtine in SteamVR to run.
