Steam version only, stuck at "requesting CD key"

So yeah, I bought the Steam version of Crysis.
When I right click on the game -> manage -> CD keys, it gets stuck at "Requesting Key".
Any way around this? I've seen people say to try via Origin but I do not use Origin.

when i install this game i install and click to start to play and then that ask me for some code which i dont have and when i try with involence code i paste that after that game get stuck please can you reccomend me something?

Yeah through Steam, if you contact them they should give it back unless you abused the exploit ofc. They did for me.

I tried that. They gave me a key but the key is invalid.
So I contacted them again and they told me this:

"EA assistant: We can only grant the game on PC Origin as a goodwill gesture and not steam after verification, since both steam and Origin have different management

EA assistant: I understand but steam is all together a different company.

What bothers me most is that when you visit the support page on Steam for Crysis.
you get this: Support for this product is provided by:
Official Support
Publisher
Electronic Arts

and when you click on it, it sends you to the EAhelp site where I already tried to get my key!!!

this is starting to be a scam.

My friend, if you want to contribute to the discussion please read the whole thing ;)
A lot of people don't want to use Origin, myself included.
I paid full price on Steam, It makes zero sense to have to use EA's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ client.
