After sinking hours into it back then to make the game work I thought I create that guide for everybody but also for myself when I want to install the game again in the future so I don't have to go through the mess again of that huge original thread where I found the parts of the solution.
Something to mention maybe for any person coming here later on : At Step 3 it is said : "Inside our new Bin32 folder I went to properties from ‘Crysis.exe’ and changed its compatibility mode to Vista & SP2. Do NOT do this with the ‘Crysis64.exe’ file, do it just with the ‘Crysis.exe’."
If by right-clicking on Crysis.exe and going to "Properties" you don't find a Tab called "compatibility", don't panic and simply skip this small step, you won't lose anything of the final result. I had it happen to me and, eventually, the game ran as expected. I say thanks one more time to Knuddelholic for his guide. Now, nearly 3 years after having bought this game, i finally see what it is... For better and worst :-p
That's why I made this guide which you shortcut if you decide so. But if the shortcut does not work, going through all steps will most likely make it work in opposite to half baked suggestions.

I tried the 64 bit patch offered from dropbox, it did not work for me. I had a thread on a fix that made the game playable...
"I just fixed it! I tried the patch from http://dl.dropbox.com/u/71527378/Bin64.zip and contrary to popular feedback, it did not work for me. It crashed at launch, even in compatibility mode! I also tried a securom removal tool from https://support.securom.com/removaltool.html
If this fix does not work for you, try those attempts first.
You will need Crysis Warhead, If you cant launch Warhead this probably wont work for you either. I just copied the Bin64 folder from Warhead to the Crysis folder, and ran Crysis64.exe.
I couldn't start a new game directly, it shows the intro about how uber the suit is, and then it has a black screen for me. I had to hit the ~ key to open up the console and set the console cvar con_restricted to 0, and afterwards type "map island" to start the campaign.
It might be buggy, but its about time it works!
I am currently running Windows 10, Hope this helps."
Original - I add bin 64 to crysis, rename bin32 to old, change bin64 to bin 32. black screen crash from steam start. Send shortcut of cyrsis (secure rom 64) to desktop, black screen crash. try adm and sp2, still black screen.

Thank you very much this worked for me
I've only just done this, but I was able to start the game, create a game profile, set all game graphics settings to max, and get to the beach in the first level. Now I'm gonna continue playing. Looks awesome!
Thanks for all the advice and uploaded files!
But it still works lol
