It seems ridiculous that they do not.
Delete local files in Steam for Crysis.
Reinstall Crysis.
Find the folder C:\Users\Username\Documents\My Games\Crysis\Profiles
Rename it to Profiles.bak
Relaunch Crysis it runs in 32bit mode.
Wow. Lots of time wasted on that one!
Great news, Now all you have to do is install the Crysis Multiplayer Mod and join me in a game!
RE: The solution ... I saw someone suggest it on an internet search years ago, when I did my initial Crysis install. I found it written up in one of my text files.
Didn't use the 64bit folder at all.
All I did was a completely fresh installation of Crysis in Steam, then
Find the folder C:\Users\Username\Documents\My Games\Crysis\Profiles
Rename it to Profiles.bak
Relaunch Crysis it runs in 32bit mode.
RE: how I change my setting to very high?
I assume you mean Options-> System Settings->Advanced menu.
Change all Settings to Very High is blanked out in your case correct?
Proposed Solution / Check.
(1). Does your Graphics Card / Chip support Microsoft Direct X 10 or above?
If not and you are on Direct X 9 Card you cannot set all settings to Very High. It will be blanked out.
(2). Have you installed the Latest Microsoft Driect X Drivers for your system?
To find out what you have go to your windows command line and type in dxdiag.
Direct X Diagnostic Tool GUI should start. You can see which version is installed from there.
If you need Direct X installed you can get information on how to from: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/179113
(3). Check your launch options in Steam.
Go to Library -> Games -> Crysis.
Right Click Mouse Button over Crysis.
Menu Pop Up.
Left Click over Properties.
Go to General -> Left Click on "Set Launch Options" button.
If it is empty then likely you cannot run DX10 on your GPU or do not have DX10 software installed.
If it is not empty the you could see any of the following:
-DX9
"path to crysis executeable/crysis.exe" -DX9
This makes Crysis start in Direct X 9 which means ... no Very High Setting is available.
Solution?
Remove the -DX9 switch or set it to -DX10.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck.

Patch for Steam Crysis version also add:
1. Fully working multiplayer with many active players
2. More than 120 brand new multiplayer maps
3. New game mode: Team Instant Action
4. Fully working 64-bit support for all Windows versions
5. Support for new Windows (32 and 64-bit) versions: 8 , 8.1 and 10
Sorry what doesn't work?
1. Fully working multiplayer with many active players
2. More than 120 brand new multiplayer maps
3. New game mode: Team Instant Action
4. Fully working 64-bit support for all Windows versions
5. Support for new Windows (32 and 64-bit) versions: 8 , 8.1 and 10
It is not as good as Crysis or Crysis wars Multiplayer. Completely different game experience.
