Why won't they die?!

Am I the only person who has run into enemies that just won't die no matter how many bullets I hit them with?

Certain soldiers in the beginning of the game, but there was one at a machine gun post that wouldn't die after I had fired almost all the bullets from my rifle at him. I could tell they were hitting to because he was jerking from being hit.

Yeah...about that...he was firing at me from the outside walkway of a building so I was forced to fire from behind cover.

I was using a sniper scope so I could make sure I was hitting

I really don't know what to say i've had a couple of glitches before but nothing like this. Maybe if you verify the integrity of the game cache, but i doubt that would do anything to it. If you can't fix it you can always just cloak past ;).

Yeah, that's what I tried in the end, but the fact that there was this problem in the first place is a little worrying.

Well the game was made in 2008 and there hasn't been a patch in forever so we can all forgive Crytek for now.

LOL! I just started playing this game, and came across the same thing! I think it's the same guy, too (next to a jeep that you take down into a revine, right?). I hit him with a grenade launcher 3 times, and he still didn't die! Anyway, as suggested I cloaked past him and jumped into the truck and sped off...

It's a bug that can rarely happen, gladly the game lets you just walk past them so it doesn't matter.
